This announcement constitutes the solicitation. Solicitation FA5004-24-Q-0051 is a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-07, effective August 29, 2024. The AFFARS provisions and clauses are those in effect to DAFAC 2024-0612, effective June 12, 2024. Notice to Offeror. The Government reserves the right to cancel this purchase request, either before or after suspense date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The contractor shall not request, nor will the Government make, payments for any preliminary quotes, time or cost incurred. This requirement is solicited as a 100% total small business set aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this procurement is 336214 with a small business size standard of 1,000 Employees. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the following minimum items: Two Recreational Toy Hauler Trailers at 23’ x 8.6’ with the capability to haul 4 snow machines, 4 ATVs or 2 side-by-sides. Have a rear ramp-door opening that is cable-assisted and reinforced. Two lockable fuel doors on the sides of trailer and fold-down stabilizer jacks for easy loading / unloading while unhooked from vehicle. A spare mounted to interior wall. A 30 amp 110-125 volt electrical power supply with either an on-board generator or ample connections and space for a generator to be placed inside. A kitchen inside with the ability for cooking and refrigeration. A self-contained toilet along with potable water supply with a faucet. Additional accessories should include a adjustable coupler 3” tow ring 25k lunette. Adjustable coupler channel with 6 holes, 5 positions able to support up to 20,000 lbs. Pricing may be done on your own document or the attached Solicitation document. The items need to be transported to the Eielson AFB, AK 99702 area. Once in the Eielson AFB, AK or Fairbanks, AK area pick up by requirement owner can be arranged. No Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) assigned rating applies to this acquisition. This pricing can be on the attached Solicitation document or your own companies quotation document. NAICS was changed from 441227 to the NAICS 336214. Size standard was changed from $40 Million to 1,000 Employees. No other changes are occuring. __________________________________________________________ There have been a number of questions regarding sizing of the trailer to allow for the accomadtion of the Snow Machines, ATVs, or UTVs. If your company has a quote for a trailer that is larger than the outlined 23' x 8.6' that is capable of holding 4 Snow Machines, 4 ATVs, or 2 UTVs that includes "A kitchen inside with the ability for cooking and refrigeration. A self-contained toilet along with potable water supply with a faucet." then please have it annoited on your quote that the item you are offering is an or equal item to the requested item in the solicitation. Or equal items that meet these minimums will be evaluated for meeting these requirements. This is along with the other features outlined in the above description. How you meet these features is up to the offeror. I do not have a generator size, it is only requested that connections are put in place if a generator is not provided. If the offeror finds it easier to quote for their own generator please do so. I will continue to attempt to field questions, however the solicitation will still be closing at the designated time and date.
