This will also amendment will also extend the due date to 12 April 2023 at 1200pm AKST. Per the attached amendment a site visit to survey the land in need of clearing will be conducted on 6 April 2023 at 1200pm AKST. Those wishing to attend must send their full name, drivers license number and cage code. ***** Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska has a requirement for a Hydro-Axing the Power Lines and Right of Ways. Eielson Air Force Base has approximately 12 miles of power line, right of ways, that require hydro-axed to prevent trees from coming into contact with the high voltage overhead power lines and to keep power line right of ways clear for maintenance purposes. These right of ways need to be hydro axed to an overall width of 60ft, 30ft on each side of the pole line. All trees taller than the power lines must be felled away from power lines and then hydro-axed. The main area is Feeder 12 along the southern portion of Eielson Air Force Base. This, and other areas that will be identified on the map consists of approximately 12 miles of lines. Overall acreage is approximately 50 acres. This action will be solicited as a Total Small Business Set Aside. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730, with a small business size standard of $9.5M. The Government is contemplating a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Sealed Bid contract.
