The intent of this requirement is to inspect, test andmaintain existing fire suppression systems and does not include and is not intended for upgrade of the current systems. The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to inspect, test, recharge and maintain fire suppression systems at Eielson AFB Alaska in a manner that will ensure their serviceability and operation. These systems shall be serviced in accordance with the most up to date Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 12, NFPA Standard 12A, NFPA Standard 13, NFPA Standard 15, NFPA Standard 17, NFPA Standard 17An, and applicable manufacturer’s data. In the event of a conflict between regulatory data, the UFC shall take precedence. Please refer to the attachments for further details pertaining to this requirement.
