Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska has a requirement for a Construction project, FTQW 11-044D Maintain Boiler 4. The purpose of this project is to repair and maintain boiler 4 at the Central Heat and Power Plant on Eielson, AFB. The boiler is showing signs of deterioration and failure and it is the last boiler at the CHPP in need of repair. The Contractor shall completely prepare the site for maintenance of boiler 4 including furnishing labor, materials, and equipment to perform the work to repair boiler 4 at the Central Heat and Power Plant. Performance time will be 154 calendar days. The estimated magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The NACIS code is 236220, with a Small Business Size Standard of $39,500,000. This solicitation is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The Government is contemplating a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Bid, Payment and Performance Bonds will be required. This posting is for an Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bids must be valid for 120 days. Offerors are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this solicitation; all cost associated with responding to this solicitation will be solely at the interested party’s expense. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The due date and time for submission of the bids is contained in the solicitation package. Paper copies will not be available. The entire solicitation, including the specification and/or drawings, are available only on the System for Award Management website at https://www.sam.gov. SITE VISIT: A site visit will be conducted on 21 April 2022 at 9:30AM AKST, participants will meet at 2676 Industrial Dr Bldg 6203-CHPP, Eielson AFB, Alaska 99702. Each prime contractor is allowed to bring two personnel. No questions will be taken over the phone. Those attending the site visit must follow all COVID-19 related guidance for Eielson AFB located on the public website https://www.eielson.af.mil/coronavirus/.
