This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources (specifically, qualified Small Businesses) and their size relative to NAICS 337214. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses are not considered responses to any potential solicitation announcement. All contractors are encouraged to respond to this sources sought. 1. Contract Information: Eielson AFB, Alaska is seeking to identify qualified business sources to provide and install miscellaneous office furniture and furnishings for the F35 OSS Building 1220 Initial Outfitting. Seeking vendors who offer furniture of Herman Miller Inc., Knoll Inc., and Steelcase or similar products meeting stated requirements on the detailed listing. These components must conform to and be compatible with our existing furniture design in both aesthetics, dimensions, layout design options, and modular construction capability, including electrical requirements for sources of equal furniture. Specific items to be procured include, but are not limited to, workstations, office chairs, office waiting chairs, stools, lounge seating, mobile writing board, iPad charging chart, waste containers, double monitor arm, display cabinet, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, glass display case, elevated double credenza, side table, café table, square table, rectangular conference table, hub table, and laptop tables that meet specifications. The Government is performing market research in order to determine sources available that possess the capability to execute the kind of work. Interested sources should provide a completed Capabilities Statement in order to facilitate the Government's market research efforts. 2. Submission Requirements: We are anticipating this to be a small business set-aside based on historical positive responses; however, any firm that believes it can provide a product that meets the Government's need is invited to submit a completed capability statement, by 2:00PM Alaska Standard Time on 8 February 2019. This notice is for market research purposes only and IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The contract period of performance will be on 22 July 2019 or upon notice from the Contracting Officer. It is the SOLE responsibility of the potential vendor to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this SOURCES SOUGHT.
