The purpose of this project is to renovate Building 1340 to accommodate the addition of operations for the two incoming F-35A squadrons, as well as accommodating unique requirements for the F-35A aircraft. Work shall include architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection work, as well as minor remediation of contaminated soils. All work is to be done at Eielson AFB, Alaska. The Government is contemplating a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Sealed Bid contract. The estimated magnitude is more than $10,000,000 IAW DFARS 236.204(i). This posting is an Invitation for Bids. Bids must be valid until 31 December 2019 and the Bid Guarantee is waived for this project. Respondees are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this solicitation; all costs associated with responding to this solicitation will be solely at the interested party's expense.
