This project involves replacing the existing built-up roof on a historic, one-story, 113,000 square foot steel and concrete building originally constructed in the early 1940s. The work includes removing the current roof from the barrel center section and east side low section, then installing a new 3-ply SBS-Modified BUR assembly on the barrel roof and a 90-mil EPDM assembly on the south lower roof section. All roofing assemblies must be fully adhered, and existing roof drains, flashings, vent pipe flashing, cover board, vapor barrier, cant strips, and metal copings and trim will be replaced.
