All quotes are due on 14 August 2024 by 4:00 PM Alaska Daylight Time. A Site Visit will be conducted on August 1, 2024 at 1:00PM at JBER. The site visit will begin at Building 9361, Snow Barn. If base access is needed, please arrive 30 minutes prior to the Boniface Visitor Center. The contractor shall provide material and services to include but not limited to the removal of the existing door set to include the locking mechanisms, ensuring not to damage the integrity of the existing wall structure on the interior or exterior of the facility. Replace the two existing rollup doors in Building 8288 with three CSI section 08 34 00 High Speed Doors, (1) 15’ wide x 14’ tall; and (1) 24’ wide x 20’ tall. Replace the three existing rollup doors in Building 9361 with three CSI section 08 34 00 High Speed Doors, (1) 15’ wide x 15’4” tall; (1) 20’ wide x 16’ tall and (1) 24’ wide x 20’ tall. Once doors are removed opening must be secured as to ensure the security of the facility at night. The contractor will be responsible for loading and transporting all debris generated from the removal of the doors and installation of the new doors to and from building 9361 and building 8288. They will properly dispose of the material in accordance with local laws and regulations. Door Specifications/Requirements: CSI Section 08 34 00 High Speed Rubber Door (2) Doors Total, (1) 15’ wide x 14’ tall; and (1) 24’ wide x 20’ tall. CSI Section 08 34 00 High Speed Rubber Door (3) Doors Total, (1) 15' wide x 15'4” tall, (1) 20' wide x 16' tall, and (1) 24' wide x 20' tall Curtain: Rubber and Black in color. Operation: Variable Speed direct-drive AC motor with dynamic braking. Springless design with no counterbalance. 3 Phase power exist in current facility. System 4 controller with self-diagnostic capabilities in NEMA 4X rated enclosure. Release and restore technology after impact (no tools needed). Actuators: (1) Remote open/close/stop push buttons. Safety equipment; (2) Through beam photo eyes. Chain hoist for manual operation. Activation: (2) Motions sensors on west end and supply door. Radio control: Receiver with (1) button transmitters inside dispatch office. Windows: Clear windows 2 for each door.
