The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made.** The purpose of this requirement is to furnish a Steel Deck Motor Truck Scale at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska 99506. The scale shall be a commercial-grade truck scale: this component is designed to accomodate the weight of motor trucks, ensuring accurate measurement of load weights. Foundation: a proper foundation is necessary to support the truck scale Weighbridge: This component acts as a platform for the truck scale, enabling accurate weighing of trucks and their loads. Surface, form, and finish: The scale's surface material, form, and finish should be chosen for durability, resistance to wear, and ease of maintenance. Load cell: This device is responsible for converting the force (weight) applied to the truck scale into an electrical signal, which will then be processed and displayed by the scale instrument. Scale instrument: The scale instrument displays the weight of the truck and its load, as determined by the load cell.
