Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardsons (JBER) end goal is to provide barracks/dorms that are clean, freshly painted, and free of damages for new occupants. If this need is not met, JBER will not meet the Quality of Life standards expected by the DoD and its taxpayers. By providing this end goal to occupants it allows them to focus on their mission without wasting time on repairs. The end goal also allows the Base Civil Engineers to focus manpower on mission critical facilities. The Contractor shall perform cleaning, move furniture and replacement/repair maintenance to include the following areas: Interior caulking, Patching, Painting, Replace damaged wall receptacle and switch covers (provided by dormitory management), Replace damaged towel, toothbrush and toilet roll hangers (provided by dormitory management), Vacuum, shampoo, and remove stains from carpet IAW commercial standards, and Clean entire bedroom, closet(s), kitchen area and bathroom to include walls, ceilings and HVAC vent covers. If the kitchen area and/or bathroom is shared by a current adjoining occupant, the contractor will not be responsible for cleaning these areas. ***AMENDMENT 1*** The purpose of this RFQ amendment is for the following: 1. Add the questions received in response to the RFQ and the answers provided. 2.
