Special Notice (16 June 2021): The site visit for this project is currently postponed until further notice. The proposal due date is also postponed until further notice. Requirement: 773 CES is requesting the installation of five doors at four Child Youth Services (CYS) facilities (bldgs 7163, 6376, 11, & 7377) with the following requirements (see attached Statement of Work for more details): a. Install new store front frames, doors, and Glass. b. Install new hardware as noted on DOD Regulations UFC-4-740-14 c. Install (2) Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) auto operators & Best 7 pin Small Format Interchangeable Core (SFIC) Cylinders at each facility d. Contractor to remove and dispose of all demoed debris as necessary e. All work includes the labor to demo and install new materials noted above. f. All work to be completed during normal business hours and consecutive days g. Contractor will patch/repair and paint areas that are impacted (Footprint) from the removal and installation of doors to match existing wall/floor Site Visit: A site visit will be held at Katmai Child Development Center- Bldg. 7181, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK 99506 on 28 June 2021, 1300 AKST. All contractors, including those that have access to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), wishing to participate in the site visit shall provide the following information for individuals attending the scheduled site visit: Company Member: Name, Phone, Email, Driver's License with State and Date of Birth or Copy of Driver's License. Provide the information to SSgt Tyler Norris at tyler.norris.1@us.af.mil no later than 25 June 2021, 0900. Questions are due NLT 29 June at 1600 Hrs. Unfunded Requirement Notice: Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. Magnitude of Construction: IAW FAR 36.204(c) Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Prrojects, the estimated value is between $100,000 and $250,000.
