The 673d Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska, intends to award a firm fixed price, single-source contract to Utech Products Inc., Schenectady, NY, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The proposed contract action is for the acquisition of annual service and maintenance of an Endosoft Support, Information System Picture Archiving and Communication Support unit, to include Endovault and EndoAccess, located in the JBER’s Gastroenterology department. The Gastroenterology department requires a service and maintenance agreement for the maintenance and repair of their Information System Picture Archiving and Communication Unit, part number KUM68406 (ECN 32420). This contract must include one annual preventive maintenance inspections, annual recertification, on-site repairs, unlimited telephone support, software updates when available, and one business day on-site response-time on emergency calls. It must cover all costs including parts, labor, and transportation. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this simplified acquisition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. The circumstances of this contract action deem one single source is reasonably available to fulfill the stated requirement. Interested organizations, who believe they can meet the requirement, may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the requirement in writing to hannah.tolbert.1@us.af.mil and susan.reinhart.1@us.af.mil no later than 2:00 PM, AKDT, Monday, 22 February 2021. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications will not be accepted in response to this notice. No request for proposals or quotes will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
