Project Description: The 673 Civil Engineering Squadron is requesting a contractor to provide power service and ground connection for two THQ buildings as follows: a. Underground service from existing transformer to two THQ buildings. b. Post mounted service equipment. c. Grounding electrode system. All underground grounding connections shall be exothermic weld. d. Electrical system installation shall be in accordance with drawing E1 and E2 e. To ensure the integrity of cable insulation after pulling in conduit, insulation resistance testing is required for all underground feeder conductors. Restore disturbed surfaces to original conditions including paved asphalt, concrete, and top soil/seed. See the attached Statement of Work for full details. Magnitude of Construction: In accordance with FAR 36.204(b), the estimated price range of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Project Duration: Contractor shall have 180 days to complete the project from the Notice to Proceed date. Site Visit: A site visit for this project will be held at building 21309 on Thursday, 13 May at 1000. All contractors, including those that have access to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), wishing to participate in the site visit shall provide the following information for individuals attending the scheduled site visit: Company Member: Name, Phone, Email, Driver's License with State and Date of Birth or Copy of Driver's License.
