Description of the Requirement- Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson is requesting damage repairs to building 3829 that resulted from the 2018 earthquake. The repairs consist of patching, painting to match various interior and exterior cracking, and other earthquake related damage as designated on the attached drawings. The details for this requirement have been outlined in the Statement of Work (attached to the solicitation). These repairs will enable continued use and provide for a safe facility to the embedded units. Site Visit- A site visit for this requirement will be held on Friday, 7 August at 1:00 PM (AKDT). Any parties interested in attending the site visit shall meet SrA Tyler Norris at the Visitor Center (address below) on 7 August at 1:00 PM. Any parties that require a base pass shall contact SrA Tyler Norris at least 1 day prior to the site visit. Base passes will be issued at the Visitor Center to any individual attending who does not currently have one. Once base passes are issued SrA Norris will lead personnel to the site for a visual inspection. Questions regarding the requirement, solicitation, or work being requested are encouraged.
