Government desires to procure vendors who are able to provide all labor and resources necessary to widen building 800’s roll-up door (Door #22) on north wall from10’ to 12’ at JBER, AK, on a small business set-aside basis. Be advised that the U.S. Government will not be able to set aside this requirement if 2 or more small businesses do not respond with information to support the set-aside. We encourage all small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women Owned Small Business concerns), to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirement at a fair market price. Some of the duties include: Modify door opening to 12’. Seal, trim, finish/paint frame and threshold/doorsill area, Install gearhead hoist and automaticopener; Install safety sensors to stop automatic-door operation; retain on-off wall switch capability on automatic opener; and demolish and haul away concreate and any waste generated to create desired door width. SITE VISIT INFORMATION A site visit is scheduled for this requirement. Although not required, it is recommended to attend. A face mask is required. Date: 27 August 2020 Time: 09:00 am Alaska Standard Time Location: Bldg 800 1st Street. Enter the facility at Door #13. Turn left onto 1st coming from Elmo and go to the end. Bldg is located at the north end of B800. Door # 13 is located in the center of the building, near the roll off dumpster. Take a left once you enter the main hallway and the office is on the left just before walking through the fire rated slider door.
