The U.S. Government desires to procure vendors who are able to provide all labor and resources necessary to replace existing carpet and add fitness impact flooring to concrete to the side rooms of Hangar 5 at JBER, AK on a small business set-aside basis. Be advised the U.S. Government will not be able to set aside this requirement in 2 or more small businesses do notrespond with information to support the set-aside. We encourage all small business, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women Owned Small Business concerns), to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirement at a fair market price. Some of the duties include: To replace existing carpet and add fitness impact flooring to concrete to the side rooms of Hangar 5. The fitness areas shall be at least 15mm think multi-use sport flooring designed to take weight drops, heavy static equipment seen in a weight room setting and the admin area shall have at least 8 mm sport flooring. The flooring system should be designed for shock absorption and energy return to ensure a high performance sports flooring. All flooring shall be adhered to the foundation using the flooring manufacturers recommended procedures and adhesives.
