The Contractor shall be a Roman Catholic Priest in good standing with the Archdiocese of Anchorage and the Archdiocese for the Military Services. The Catholic Auxiliary Priest non-personal contract services, includes subcontractors prepared to celebrate the Mass according to the current Roman Catholic Rite. Contractor and subcontractors will require endorsement by the Archdiocese for the Military Services and complete background checks. The Catholic Auxiliary Priest shall coordinate all services, to include special services/events or seasonal observances, with the Catholic Chaplain prior to performing services. The position consists of religious services, penance services, emergency visits (hospital/counseling requests, sacraments, & funerals/internments), and administrative services (processing invoices in WAWF). The Contractor and subcontractors will limit performance of duties to the ministry of authorized individuals belonging only to the Roman Catholic faith. All worship services are held in the Chapel facilities on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. All supplies and equipment required for performance of duties will be provided by the chapel.
