Amendtment 0001: Deadline for responmces have chnged from 2:00PM (Alaska Standard Time) on 26 September 2019 to 2:00PM AST on 27 September 2019. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA5000-19-R-A031 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) IAW FAR Part 12. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-06 Item I, effective 10 September 2019. The DFARS provisions and clauses are those in effect to DPN 20190913, effective 13 Sep 2019. The AFFARS provisions and clauses are those in effect to AFAC 2018-0525, effective 25 May 2018. This is a small business set aside requirement under the North America Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code: 811121 - Automotive Body, Paint and Interior Repair and Maintenance with a small business size standard of $8M. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for Fire Truck Repair. Please see Attachment 1, Price Schedule, and Attachment 2, Statement of Work for a full description of the Government's requirement. The following table represents the proposed Line items, quantities, and unit of measure. All items shall be delivery FOB destination and the Period of Performance will be 30 September 2019 to 31 December 2019. A site visit wil be held from 10:00AM to 11:30AM (Alaska Standard Time) on 24 September 2019 at 6211 Arctic Warrior Dr, Elmendorf AFB. If any contractor requires base access please email Ms. Reinhart or Mr. Gosh and bring drivers license, vehicle insurance card and vehicle registration to the Boniface Gate at 9:30AM the morning of the site visit. The deadline for all questions pertaining to this requirement will be 2:00PM (Alaska Standard Time) on 24 September 2019. This RFP closes at 2:00PM (Alaska Standard Time) on 26 September 2019.
