Mountain Home AFB, ID has a requirement for Cold Weather Gear, including APECS jackets, steel-toe boots, leather work and cold-weather gloves, balaclava, ear sound amplification hearing protection, service identifier patches, Air Force name tapes with Spice Brown lettering, cold-weather socks, a hydration pack compatible with CamelBak bladders, and cleaning kits. The Berry Amendment applies, and all clothing and equipment must be DAFI 36-2903 compliant and meet the attached specification sheet requirements and quantities.
