XFS21 is a Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) exercise that will be held at Mountain Home Air Force Base (MHAFB), Idaho, USA, from 13 to 23 Sep 2021. The SAF will lease Remotely-Controlled Vehicles (RCVs) that would be fitted with tow-boxes and employed within Saylor Creek Range (SCR). All RCVs and attached tow-boxes will be utilised throughout the exercise and used to simulate moving targets. The SAF will employ Fighters’ inert bombs, AH-64 hydra rockets and 30mm guns to engage these targets. While the RCVs are operated by the contractor, the contractor providing the car shelters must work closely with the RCV contractor to ensure that shelters are constructed to allow smooth entry and exit of the RCV or RCV with tow-box.
