XFS21 is a Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) exercise that will be held at Mountain Home Air Force Base (MHAFB), Idaho, USA, from 13 to 23 Sep 2021. The SAF will lease a total of 24 Remotely-Controlled Vehicles (RCVs), 18 tow-boxes and conduct RCV operations in both Saylor Creek Range (SCR) and Orchard Combat Training Center (OCTC). All RCVs and attached tow-boxes will be utilised throughout the exercise and used to simulate moving targets. The SAF will employ Fighters’ inert bombs, AH-64 hydra rockets and 30mm guns to engage these targets. While the RCVs are operated by the contractor, the SAF RCV Liaison Officer (LO) based at MHAFB, will have direct command and control over the movement of the RCV
