The 366th Financial Acquisition Squadron is conducting preliminary identification of any 8(a) participants, serviced by the SBA Boise District Office, 380 East Parkcenter Blvd, Boise, Idaho, which have an interest in being considered for the next acquisition of a Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineer Requirements (SABER) Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) task-order contract at Mountain Home AFB (MHAFB). This is a sources-sought only. This is not a solicitation. Offers are not being requested. None will be considered or accepted. This contract will provide a streamlined means to complete minor construction projects estimated at less than $2M (10 U.S.C.2805). The contract maximum quantity is anticipated to exceed the competitive threshold for a sole source 8(a) award, but not exceed $10,000,000. Awardee shall be required to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to design, manage, and accomplish a broad range of maintenance, repair, alteration, and/or new construction work on various facilities to include infrastructure. The work will include tasks in various trades, such as carpentry, pavement repair, roofing, asbestos abatement/removal, demolition, concrete masonry, welding, etc. The work will be performed at MHAFB, off-base Small Arms Range, Grasmere, Saylor Creek, Juniper Butte, associated Emitter Sites, Rattle Snake Radar Site, and other off-base facilities. The SABER contractor will be required to maintain an office on MHAFB in order to receive work requests and other related requirements to accomplish each TO, staffed during normal duty hours during project development, execution, and closeout. The current SABER IDIQ ordering period is valid until May 2025, however the follow-on acquisition may be required as early as June 2023. The current contract statement of work is attached, but is subject to change and may not be the final document for the follow-on.
