The purpose of this special notice is to inform all interested parties of a forthcoming Solicitation for Refuse/Waste Collection at Mountain Home AFB ID. Simplified Acqusition Procedures will be utilized for the RFP; the Government intends to make a single award from the Solicitation announcement. The Government anticipates posting this requirement on or about 3 March 2023 as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Any vendor interested in this opportunity should add themselves to the Interested Vendors list of this announcement. ------------------ Description The contractor shall, except as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) as government furnished property or services, provide all personnel, supervision, tools, materials, and equipment to provide Refuse Collection Services at Mountain Home AFB,ID 83648. Performance shall be according to the requirements contained in the PWS and any Federal, State, County, and City regulations. The solicitation will result in a firm fixed-priced contract with a base year and four (4) one-year options. The base year period of performance will be 1 October 2018 - 30 September 2019. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this solicitation is 562111 and the small business size standard is $38,500,000. A formal Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be issued on or about 15 August 2018 via Federal Business Opportunities (FBO). All prospective bidders must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires a DUNS number and may take up to three weeks to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for a timely award.
