North Warning System (NWS) Fixed-Wing Airlift/Transportation Services
The U.S. Air Force intends to solicit non-personal services for fixed-wing airlift to support the North Warning System, providing critical radar surveillance for NORAD and Homeland Defense in the Canadian Arctic. The contractor must transport cargo (payloads of 2,100 to 6,000 pounds) and personnel to remote, unimproved radar sites in extreme Arctic conditions. Performance will occur entirely outside the United States, with a 12-month base period and four one-year options under a Firm Fixed Price contract with cost-reimbursable line items. No budget amount is specified, and funds are not currently available; no award will be made until funds are secured. The final solicitation is anticipated for release around July 21, 2026, with proposals due by August 21, 2026.
