This NOTICE OF A SOLE SOURCE AWARD is being published in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C); The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541611 and the Business Size Standard is $24,500,000.00. The Acquisition Management and Integration Center (AMIC), 300 Exploration Way, Hampton, Virginia, 23666 awarded a sole source task order to acquire the services necessary to provide support for the USAFCENT/AFOSI 2FIR OL-A Locally Employed Person Screening Teams (LEPST) and Human Resource Management Requirement. The Government awarded a Firm-Fixed Price Level of Effort (FFP LOE) sole source bridge task order to: FA489023F0041 to ITA International, LLC, 700 Tech Center Parkway Ste 202, Newport News, VA 23606-3075. This task order will provide for the continuation of mission critical services for the Air Force Office of Special Investigation (AFOSI) 2d Field Investigation Region (2 FIR) Linguist and Screener Team (LEPST) Support Services in the USAFCENT Area of Responsibility (AOC) due to a post-award protest and the resulting Competition in Contracting Act (CICA) stay of performance. AFOSI 2 FIR/OL-A is responsible for providing counterintelligence and counter-terrorism services to the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) and USAFCENT in support of ongoing operations in the USCENTCOM AOR. AFOSI's mission is to identify, exploit and neutralize criminal, terrorist and intelligence threats to the Air Force, Department of Defense and U.S. Government.
