This is a SOURCES SOUGHT being published to identify interested venders who can satisfy the following Air Force Heritage Flight services. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541890 and the Size Standard is $16.5M. The Acquisition Management and Integration Center, 300 Exploration Way, Hampton Virginia, 23666 intends to award a contract to support the United States Air Force Heritage Flight Program with warbirds and pilots in support of 40-60 Air Combat Command Heritage Flight performances per year at airshows, open houses or other events. The contractor shall provide pilot and warbird support for the annual Heritage Flight Training Course (HFTC) and comply with AFI 11-246, Vol. 1, ACC Supplement. The contractor shall provide Warbirds of WWII, Korea, Vietnam or Desert Storm era U.S. Army Air Corps or U.S. Air Force pursuit/fighter/attack-type with a current annual inspection. Warbirds should be sufficient enough to ensure training is accomplished during the annual HFTC. Contractor shall provide pilots that meet the following criteria: Attend HFTC annually Be less than 65 years of age Hold all FAA ratings for aircraft type Have 500 hours minimum time in ACC fighter-type warbirds or 50 hours minimum time in ACC fighter-type warbirds plus 2,000 hours minimum time in active duty ACC fighter-type aircraft Current Formation and Safety Training formation flight certificate with a four-ship stamp, equivalent FAA certification, or military documentation certifying four-ship flight lead qualified Current Class II medical certificate Current Level II aerobatic card or FAA equivalent low-level card Commercial pilot certificate The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for Air Force Heritage Flight services that can display Air power history, honor those who serve or have served and support current recruiting/retention efforts with no adverse impact on event schedules. This Sources Sought is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Time, 25 Feb 22. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government; however, a determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
