Headquarters (HQ) Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) 2d Field Investigations Region (2 FIR), Operating Location Alpha (OL-A), Shaw AFB, SC, requires an extension of services for the existing contract FA4890-17-F-0021, awarded under a Firm-Fixed Price/Level of Effort (FFP/LOE) contract with Cost Reimbursement (CR) line items. This is a modification which will result in the extension of services for the effort. The extension is to be procured from ITA International. ITA International is the only firm capable of providing the services within the limited time specified without a break in service. The contract expires on 27 Sept 2022 and is being be re-competed by ACC AMIC/PKFB. FA4890-17-F-0021 will be extended from 28 Sept 2022 to 27 Mar 2023. This contracted effort supports AFCENT AFOSI mission with counter-intelligence and counter-terrorism services. The Period of Performance for contract FA4890-17-F-0021 consists of a 12-month base period with four one-year option periods from 28 Sept 2017 - 27 Sept 2022. At the time of award, the inclusion of a six month extension was not priced and evaluated. The exclusion of this clause was an administrative oversight at time of award. This justification is intended to provide authorization to utilize the full six month extension as outlined in FAR 52.217-8. The services provided under this contract will be required after the extension. Therefore, there is a follow-on acquisition which will provide for the continuation of these services through competitive means.
