UPDATE 1 This post has been updated to include an attachment containing all questions and answers recieven in response to the solicitation. ~~~~~~~~BREAK~~~~~~~~~ The 56th Contracting Squadron is soliciting for the following: Procurement is to upgrade critical infrastructure for the four Unmanned Threat Emitters (UMTE) located on the Barry M. Goldwater (BMGR) Range. The systems are used to train aircrews to defend against surface to air missile threats. Radios will be mounted to existing towers at each location. Contractor will be responsible for removal and disposal of all old antennas, waveguide and radios. Access to sites may be limited by the BMGR flying schedule. Install will take place over multiple days and at various times. They are to be delivered and installed in accordance with the attached "Statement of Objectives." This will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. Period of Performance: 60 Calendar Days after Date of Award Receipt System for Award Management (SAM) registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 517911. ****An OPTIONAL Site Visit is scheduled for 2 Septemeber at 0800. If you plan to attend you must notify 2d Lt Mitchell Wilcox at the email below by NLT 1 Sept at 1200 PDT. The Site Visit will begin at the BMGR Range promptly at 0800. All questions regarding this notice are to be submitted in writing via e-mail No Later Than 3 Sept 2021 at 5:00PM Pacific Standard Time (PST). Questions submitted after the specified response date/time may not be considered. All questions submitted to this office are subject to be posted in this notice along with the appropriate response(s). Quotation submissions to this solicitation must be submitted no later than 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST) on 9 Sept 2021.
