STATEMENT OF WORK Purchase of Water Well Casing, Screens, and Couplings Luke AFB, AZ Well Project Summary of Work: This statement of work is to purchase water well steel casing, screens, and couplings. The well casings in the below Bill of Materials (BOM) must be steel, 12 inch diameter, 20 foot long sections with a wall thickness of 0.375 inches, NPT* threaded on both ends. The well screens must be 12 inch diameter, 20 foot sections slotted to a 0.030 inch slot and NPT threaded to match that of the casing. The couplings must be able to thread on to the casings and screens as to join the sections together. All together the casings, screens, and couplings need to be able to be threaded together as to make one continuous well. 1. Steel well casing (pipe), 12 in inside diameter, 0.375 wall thickness, 20 foot sections, NPT* threaded on both ends (22 EA) 2. Well screens, 12.75 in outside diameter, 20 foot sections, 304 Stainless Steel, 0.030 slotted, NPT threaded on both ends (18 EA) 3. **Pipe couplings, 12.75 in outside diameter, NPT threaded (36 EA) * Note 1: NPT (National Pipe Thread) – denotes U.S. thread measurements vs. metric thread measurements ** Note 2: usually casing pipe and screens come with both ends having female threads. This necessitates pipe couplings (both ends with male threads) to fit all the pipe and screens together. If both the pipe and screens have one end with male and one end with female threads then the pipe couplings are no longer needed. Bottom line, all pipe and screens need to be able to be threaded together to make one continuous well. *** Delivery timeframe after award will be considered in quote technical acceptability. Delivery before 4 April 2019 is highly desired.
