The government is requesting the procurement of of two (2) Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS). This sUAS uniquely mirrors deployed equipment, ensuring seamless operator transition and effectiveness. In accordance with the FY20 NDAA, Section 848, FY23 NDAA, Section 817, and the American Security Drone Act, government agencies are not authorized to procure and operate (s)UAS's from covered countries. Moreover, the U.S. Government has partnered with the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) for evaluation of (s)UAS's manufactured by authorized contractors and those are included on the Blue UAS Cleared List.
