The 355TH Communications Squadron is requesting the renewal of a follow-on two year service contract for Base Telecommunications Services. This service will ensure that the base wide network infrastructure to include internet access and telephone connectivity on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base stays consistently operational throughout the lifetime of the contract. The contractor will perform fault locating cabling services that repair network connectivity issues and outages, perform telephone programming and maintenance to prevent major faults from occurring, install of physical medium communications equipment, and maintain the network cabling physical infrastructure that connects us to the network. The contractor will operate and maintain all base telecommunications equipment and systems in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturers' technical manuals and specifications, Department of Defense and US Air Force policy and regulations, applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The purpose of this synopsis is to notify small businesses that the 355th Contracting Squadron will be solicitating a requirement as a Total Small Business Set Aside under NAICS 517111 for the 355th CS. Description of Services include but are not limited to: The contractor will provide all, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, personnel, labor, supervision, and management to perform Base Telecommunications System Operations and Maintenance Services in support of the 355th Communications Squadron (355 CS) at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (DMAFB), AZ. The contractor will perform Operation and Maintenance (O&M) to ensure the Base Telecommunications System (BTS) is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The BTS consists of the base telephone system switch, outside plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP) systems, telephone network, telephone transmission systems, and all associated equipment. The contractor shall operate and maintain all BTS equipment and systems in accordance with (IAW) the Original Equipment Manufacturers’ (OEM) technical manuals and specifications, Department of Defense (DoD) and US Air Force (AF) policy and regulations, applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The solicitation is expected to be posted on 20 December 2024 but is subject to change. The closing date and tiume for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The entire solicitation will be available in electronic format fro mthe System for Award Management webiste at www.sam.gov, no paper copies will be issued. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract awrad, offerors must be registered and marked active in the System for Award Management (SAM) website.
