**QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS POSTING 10 OCT 2023** Q: Can you advise how many government personnel will be onboard for each training evolution? A: There will 6 government personnel on 3 of the boats, and 14 government personnel on the fourth boat for each training evolution. Quotes that include alternate seating capacity are encouraged and may be eligible for award. 1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. FA487724QA499 for Charter Boats is hereby issued as a request for quotes. 3. This solicitation will give preference for small businesses under the 483112 North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code, with a small business size standard of 1500 Employees. 4. Alternates that do not meet the PWS in its entirety but accomplish a similar service may be evaluated. 5. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1. Capability to meet the needs of the PWS at the requested times 2. Price 6. The Government reserves the right to award multiple contracts in order to meet the requirement needs. As outlined within the PWS, we are requesting 4 boats for the specified dates and times. However, any number of boats that are submitted may be evaluated if in the best interest of the Government. 7. Funds are not presently available at this time, funds are anticipated prior to the award of this requirement. 8. Reference the attached PWS, Provisions and clauses and Combo document.
