This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The contractor shall provide the procurement and installation of an Intrusion Detection System with the following characteristics… a. All items proposed must be on the Air Force Memorandum "Non-Nuclear Configuration Management Database (CMD) Equipment Approval." b. Dual zone FD-342 Fiber SenSys Fiber Defender Alarm Processing Units (APU) installed in Building 74 in a new enclosure and wired to the existing Vindicator system as 4 new alarm points to building. c. Each of the APUs will be provided with two separate lengths (zones) of Fiber SenSys' sending fiber and placed to meet Secure Lan specifications, totaling four zones. Two zones will be placed between Building 74 to Building 70 and two zones will be placed between Building 74 and Building 75. d. Install shall include Fiber SenSys software.
