The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with Quantum Interface for the procurement of the following items: QIVX Software License access for 42 users with 12-month access period. This requirement is conducted under FAR 13.106-1(b) “Soliciting from a Single-Source”. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who believe they should be considered must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm’s technical expertise, certifications and authorization to compete for this acquisition as an authorized software license provider for the QIVX software required. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. Quantum Interface is the original software publisher for QIVX software and does not list any authorized third party distributors. All interested firms must respond to this notice no later than the sources sought close out date via E-mail christopher.raney@us.af.mil ; and donna.doss.1@us.af.mil or via phone (520) 228-3038. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
