D) Extend the response deadline to Tuesday, 22 September 2020, NLT 2:00 PM Arizona Local Time Contracting POC: 1st Lt Sadiah Robinson; sadiah.robinson@us.af.mil; 520-228-2214 COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION ‘COMBO’: Mobile and Modular ISU-90 Storage Containers and Staircase – FA487720QU0007 i. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ii. Solicitation FA487720QU0007 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). iii. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07 effective 31 Aug 2020, Defense Procurement Notice 20200831, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2019-1001. iv. This is under Full and Open Competition. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332312 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. v. Davis Monthan Air Force Base intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the following: CLIN 0001 – Cargo Holders with Fabric Covers (QTY:16 U/I:EA) (P/N:Ban-Air Cargo Cubers BACC-A or equal item) Storage Equipment must be relocatable, freestanding, modular storage crates that can be stacked, combined, and moved in tandem with a forklift Be able to hold ISU-90 container or other load up to 14,900 lbs per unit Must be able to open ISU-90 containers while in storage holder and elevated Minimum Dimensions: 116”w x 94”d x 104”h Must have fabric canvas covers Hot dip galvanized finish CLIN 0002 – Moveable Stair Kit to access and open elevated ISU-90s in containers (QTY: 1 U/I: EA) (P/N: Ban-Air Stair Kit BAN-MIS01 or equal item) Staircase must be moveable with a forklist that allows elevated ISU 90 Containers to be fully accessed vi. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. vii. The government will place an order with the offeror whose quote is the lowest priced technically acceptable. Technical acceptability is defined and referred to within this solicitation document as the offeror’s capability statement to meet the defined salient characteristics of the product or service. viii. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award without discussion, but reserves the right to conduct discussions. Therefore, the offeror’s initial offer should contain the offeror’s best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. Offers that fail to furnish required representations or information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The right to make multiple or no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the Government to do so. ix. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date.
