COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION ‘COMBO’: AutoRAE Kit This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA487720QA416 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07 effective 31 August 2020, Defense Procurement Notice 20200605, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2019-1001 effective 1 Oct 2019. This is a total small business set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. Davis-Monthan Air Force Base intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the following: “Product Description” CLIN 0001 – AutoRAE Meter Kit – QTY: 7 EA To Include: -AutoRAE 2 Kit with inCase Calibration configured for AutoRAE2 System with Controller and one MultiRAE cradle. Kit with AR2 only, no meters, no gas, no regulators. - inCase Calibration TM - Must provide ability to calibrate portable instruments within the case. Delivery of the AutoRAE Kit shall be FOB Destination. Contractor shall include delivery schedule information on the Pricing Schedule, Attachment 1. Please see attached Brand Name Justification and Approval Document for further information. Please see attached Solicitation-FA487720QA416 for Contract Clauses and Provisions. The government will place an order with the offeror whose quote meets lowest price and technical acceptability. Technical acceptability is defined and referred to within this solicitation document as the offeror’s capability statement to meet the defined salient characteristics of the product or service. Important Dates/Times (All Times are Arizona Local Time) Questions are due by 14 September 2020, at 2:00PM. (NO questions will be considered after the questions due date.)
