COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION ‘COMBO’: Industrial Fans w/ Instillation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-20-Q-A247 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-06 effective 6 May 2020, Defense Procurement Notice 20200324, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2019-1001 effective 1 October 2019. This is a small business set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333413 with a small business size standard of 500 Employees. Davis Monthan Air Force Base intends to award two (2) firm-fixed price contract for High Volume/Low Speed Fans. These contracts will be evaluated independently and separately. Contractor shall include delivery schedule information on the Pricing Schedule, Attachment 1. All engine can pick-up and delivery must be coordinated with the designated Government point of contact. The government will place an order with the offeror whose quote meets lowest price and technical acceptability. Technical acceptability is defined and referred to within this solicitation document as the offeror’s capability statement to meet the defined salient characteristics of the product or service. The optional site-visit shall be conducted on Thursday, 28 May 2020 at 0900, Arizona Local Time. Interested parties whom would like to attend must notify the Points of Contact no later than (NLT) Wednesday, 27 May 2020 by 1500. Site visit attendees shall meet at the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Visitor’s Center outside of the Craycroft Road gate at no later than 0830 in a non-commercial vehicle. Site Visit Procedures: In order to gain access to the installation, all site visit attendees must bring current driver’s license identification, current vehicle registration, current vehicle insurance, and personal social security number. Additionally, in accordance with the Center for Disease Control guidance concerning the spread and control of COVID-19, conditions during the facilitation of the site visit may not allow for maintaining a distance of the recommended six (6) feet of social distance. Therefore, in order to attend the site visit, in addition to the required documents, all vendors must bring a cloth face covering as recommended by the U.S. Surgeon General. Failure to meet or provide any of the items above shall result in the denial of installation access and reschedule requests shall be denied. Important Dates/Times (All Times are Arizona Local Time) Site Visit will be 28 May 2020, 09:00 am Questions are due by 29 May 2020, 2:00 pm. (NO questions will be considered after the questions due date.) Answers will be provided by 1 Jun 2020, 2:00 pm. All quotes shall be submitted by 2 Jun 2020, 2:00 pm. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the posting for any changes or amendments that may occur concerning this RFQ.
