COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION ‘COMBO’: HEADSETS i.This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The right to make multiple or no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the Government to do so. ii.Solicitation FA4877-20-Q-00721 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). iii.This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-06 effective 10 Oct 2019, Defense Procurement Notice 20190531, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2019-1001 effective 1 Oct 2019. iv.This is a total small business set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334220 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. v.Davis Monthan Air Force Base intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the following: a.CLIN 0001: Bose A20 headset or equal item QTY: 70 Unit of Issue: EA Please refer to the salient characteristics in the attachments for specific performance requirements. vi.Delivery of the headsets shall be FOB Destination. Delivery must be coordinated with thedesignated Government point of contact. vii.The government will place an order with the offeror whose quote meets lowest price andtechnical acceptability. Technical acceptability is defined and referred to within this solicitationdocument as the offeror’s capability statement to meet the defined salient characteristics of theproduct. viii.Important Dates/Times (All Times are Arizona Local Time) a.Questions are due by 15 November 2019, 1:00 PM. (NO questions will be consideredafter the questions due date.) b.Answers will be provided by 18 November 2019, 1:00 PM. c.All quotes shall be submitted by 20 November 2019, 1:00 PM. ix.It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the posting for any changes or amendments thatmay occur concerning this RFQ.
