This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ii. Solicitation FA4877-19-Q-0405 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). iii. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-04 effective 7 August 2019, Defense Procurement Notice 20190628, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2018-0525 effective 25 May 2018. iv. Please see attached Provisions and Clauses referenced for all applicable information. v. This is a small business set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 315990 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. P5 SPEAR BALCS SOFT ARMOR PANEL SET MEDIUM Qty: 10 EA d. P5 SPEAR BALCS SOFT ARMOR PANEL SET LARGE Qty: 10 EA e. P5 SPEAR BALCS SOFT ARMOR PANEL SET XLARGE Qty: 10 EA vi. Brand Name Justification: In accordance with the Brand Name Justification document included as an attachment to this solicitation post, it has been determined to be in the best interests of the Government to solicit this acquisition using the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c)(1). vii. Delivery of shall be FOB Destination. viii. The government will place an order with the offeror whose quote the lowest priced technically acceptable. ix.
