COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION 'COMBO': Fall Arrest System and Crane This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-19-Q-0388 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-03 effective 12 Jul 2019, Defense Procurement Notice 20190628, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2018-0525 This is being solicited as full and open competition. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332311. Davis Monthan Air Force Base intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the following: CLIN 0001-1 EA, Hand Operated Crane CLIN 0002-1 Bundle, Design and Installation of a Fall Arrest System *Please refer to the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) for requirement details and specifications.* The period of performance for this requirement is 30 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The government will place an order with the offeror whose quote is the lowest priced technically acceptable. Technical acceptability is defined and referred to within this solicitation document as the offeror's capability statement to meet the defined salient characteristics of the product or service. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award without discussion, but reserves the right to conduct discussions. Therefore, the offeror's initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. Offers that fail to furnish required representations or information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The right to make multiple or no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the Government to do so. Important Dates/Times (All Times are Arizona Local Time) A site visit is scheduled for 14 August 2019 at 10:00 am. Please email the point of contact, richard.snyder.12@us.af.mil, to confirm attendance no later than 13 August 2019, 2:00 pm. Vendors should arrive no later than 9:30 am at the Craycroft Gate in an unmarked vehicle to be sponsored on to Davis Monthan AFB. Driver's license, a copy of insurance and vehicle registration are required. Questions are due by 15 August 2019, 4:30 pm. Answers will be provided by 16 August 2019, 4:30 pm. All quotes shall be submitted by 19 August 2019, 2:00 pm. It is the responsibility of the vendor to ensure their quote was submitted via email on time & review the post for any changes or amendments to this RFQ.
