COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION ‘COMBO': TOOL BIN STORAGE i. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ii. Solicitation FA4877-19-Q-0368 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). iii. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-03 effective 12 Jul 2019. The DFARS provisions and clauses are those in effect to DPN 20190628 effective 28 Jun 2018. The AFFARS provisions and clauses are those in effect to AFAC 2018-0525 effective 25 May 2018. iv. This is a total small business set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 337214 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. v. Davis Monthan Air Force Base intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the following: Spacesaver mechanical assist storage system or equal item to expand A-10 Phase maintainers current storage of multiple CTK's in a limited space. System will allow accurate accountability of tools and proper storage of special tools. Shelves will need to be customizable to store certain large tools. Please refer to Attachment 1 for more information on requirements. CLIN 0001 - AFSOC MAINT TOOL BIN STORAGE QTY: 1 UNIT: BD vi. Delivery of storage units shall be FOB Destination. Period of Performance is 30 days ARO. Contractor will coordinate delivery and installation through the 355 EMS/CRM point of contact. vii. The government will place an order with the offeror whose quote meets lowest price and technical acceptability. Technical acceptability is defined and referred to within this solicitation document as the offeror's capability statement to meet the defined salient characteristics of the product or service. viii. Important Dates/Times (All Times are Arizona Local Time) Questions are due by 25 July 2019, 10:00 am. (NO questions will be considered after the due date) Answers will be provided by 26 July 2019, 10:00 am. All quotes shall be submitted by 29 July 2019, 10:00 am. ix. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the posting for any changes or amendments that may occur concerning this RFQ. It is the responsibility of the offeror to ensure all quotes and/or questions are submitted in a timely manner by specified due date. x.
