No reimbursements will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to the Sources Sought or any follow-up information request. The United States Air Force, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (DMAFB) has been tasked to identify potential sources, market capabilities, and market conditions for the acquisition of a CUSTOM ADAPTOR TOOL KIT. Interested and capable commercial sources are being sought to determine capability to deliver the attached items. This Sources Sought Notice is seeking vendors who can provide back shell tooling for the following connector types used on the A-10 aircraft: - M83723, Series 1-4, shell size 6-24 - M26482, Series 1-2, shell size 6-24 - M5015, shell size 6-24, shell size 6-24 - M26500, shell size 6-24, shell size 6-24 - M38999, Series 1-4, shell size 6-24 - M81511, Series 1-4, shell size 6-24 The North American Industry Classification System is 332216 - Tools, handheld, nonpowered (except kitchen-type), manufacturing All submittals received will be reviewed for informational purposes. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this Sources Sought synopsis.
