This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13.105, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-01 effective 20 Dec 2018, Defense Procurement Notice 20180928, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2018-0525 effective 25 May 2018. This procurement is being issued as a small business set-aside. A Firm Fixed Price contract will result from this solicitation. Davis-Monthan AFB will place an order with the offeror whose offer meets technical acceptability and price. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 561210 with a size standard of $38.5 million. The right to make multiple or no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the Government to do so. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the Systems for Award Management (SAM). Register via the SAM website (http://www.sam.gov). Please Note: The subsequent award of this requirement shall not be held up by the government waiting for a firm to be properly registered. The Government intends to award a contract for repair or replacement of the Davis-Monthan AFB outdoor pool filtration system to include commissioning of the system. The service provided shall meet industry standards and must be commercially available off the shelf. The pool system repair/replacement requires the winning contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services to restore daily pool operation. Site Visit: Thursday, May 16, 2019, 10:00 AM Arizona Local Time • Attendees will be met at the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Craycroft Visitor's Center at 9:45 AM Arizona Local Time. Please be prepared to provide driver's license. Be advised, a Government shuttle will be provided for transport. To attend the site visit, please send the name of the persons attending the site visit to Tianheng Lou, tianheng.lou@us.af.mil no later than 4:00 PM Arizona local time Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Questions due date: 2:00 PM May 16, 2019 Arizona Local Time • Questions shall be submitted via email to Tianheng Lou, tianheng.lou@us.af.mil This RFQ is not authorization to begin performance, and in no way obligates the Government for any costs incurred by the contractor for this requirement. The Government reserves the right not to award in response to this RFP. Prior to commencement of any activities associated with performance of this requirement, the Government will issue a written directive or contractual document signed by the Contracting Officer with appropriate consideration established.
