This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to award a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) from this solicitation. Please reference Attachment 2 - FA486124R0017 SF1449 Solicitation for additional details regarding the BPA. 1. The solicitation number is FA486124R0017. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). A Firm Fixed Price type contract will be awarded. 2. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-03, effective 23 February 2024. 3. This solicitation is being issued as full and open competition, and the associated NAICS code is 812210, Small Business Size Standard $12.5M. 4. Description of Services: The 99th Force Support Squadron (FSS) is acquiring mortuary services for the care and disposition of remains of authorized personnel. The Contractor shall provide facilities, equipment, licensed personnel, motor vehicles, professional services, supplies, death certificates, caskets, urns, outer shipping containers, transportation, and perform hygienic practices as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS: All questions must be submitted via email to Jessica Lavender at jessica.lavender.1@us.af.mil. The deadline for submitting questions is Friday, 22 March 2024 at 10:00 AM PDT. Questions submitted after the aforementioned cutoff date and time will not be reviewed or answered. Answers will be provided by Wednesday, 27 March 2024 at 2:00 PM PDT. All responses to questions will be posted to SAM.gov for viewing. ***TO BE CONSIDERED RESPONSIVE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT*** All interested vendors shall submit their information (to include: Company Name, POC contact information, and Location Address) for a pre-proposal site visit to be conducted no later than Friday, 29 March 2024 at 4:00 PM PDT. The vendor information is required to be submitted no later than Wednesday, 20 March 2024 at 4:00 PM PDT. The Government POC is required to ensure Contractor facility meets all required Department of Defense Mortuary Facility standards in addition to all local, state, and federal regulations. Failure to provide this information and schedule the site visit will deem the offeror unresponsive. 6. Instructions to Offerors can be found in Section L of ‘Attachment 2 – FA486124R0017 SF 1449 Solicitation’ 7. Offers are due no later than Monday, 8 April 2024 at 10:00 AM PDT.
