Cannon AFB has identified the need to engineer, furnish, install, and test a Next Generation (NG) 9-1-1/E9-1-1 Emergency Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) leveraging the existing E911 System at Cannon AFB, NM. There are six (6) existing call taker positions located at various locations across the base: three (3) workstations at the Primary Dispatch (Fire B158), one (1) at the (B790) Command Post, one (1) at the Medical Group (B1408), and one (1) at the alternate Dispatch (B356). The system shall support calls from on base PBX wire-line extensions (TDM and VoIP) sources. The system shall provide the direct delivery of E911 calls to a Department of Defense (DoD) staffed PSAP without the need for intermediate call answering by the local civilian PSAP.
