This effort supports Land Mobile Radio (ELMR) via Motorola as the only approved manufacturer for the program. Motorola networks switches minimizes the number of maintenance contracts needed, reduces training requirements for systems personnel, streamlines logistics, and reduces to the cost of ownership associated with cyber defense operations.
