The 27th Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron requires carpet to be replaced throughout building 1435; approximately 871 square yards rolled goods, 842 linear feet of rolled cove, and 582 linear feet of transition strip. Carpet procurement and installation must comply with specifications outlined in the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 4-740-14 Design: Child Development Centers (USACE and Air Force Only) paragraph 7-1.6.1.2. The materials shall be delivered in the manufacturer's original wrappings and packaging, unless approved in advance by the CO or COR. When delivered to the worksite, each roll of carpet shall have the original sticker/tag from the manufacturer, containing information to include the color, run number, pattern and carpet quality.
