The scope of work includes removing and storing furniture (on-site) through phases and re-install upon floor completion. Work includes demolition, removal and disposal of the following: existing vinyl composite tile (VCT), north wall of room S115A, pre-fabricated walls by room S115A, hard ceiling in rooms S128 & S128A, select sprinklers within the vault of Building 190. New VCT and rubber cove base shall be installed in select areas throughout the building as shown on the attached drawings. Existing conference room S115A will be reconfigured to facilitate a new layout that will accommodate a larger mission briefing room area, see drawings attached. New (2) outlets, fluorescent light fixture shall be installed within the new extended conference room and relocation one (1) rotating blue light to accommodate reconfigured conference room space. New suspended lay-in ceiling tile to replace hard ceiling in rooms S128 & S128A. Nine (9) fire sprinklers shall be repaired/installed (as necessary) to ensure compliance with NFPA 101. Sprinklers are located in rooms S128 & S128A; ensure sprinklers meet proper head clearance from new suspended lay-in ceiling. A new electromagnetic closing system and door hardware for existing fire doors and two (2) smoke detectors shall be installed, see drawings for location. New fire exit signs shall be installed on its own circuit to ensure compliance with NFPA 101, see drawings for locations. Lastly, relocate fire extinguishers to meet NFPA 10 standards. - Amendment 1 adds updated SOW, Drawings (35%), Site Visit Sign-in Sheet, and Government Response to Site Visit Request for Information - 7 Apr 22 - Amendment 2 adds updated Government Response to Site Visit Request for Information and bid due date extended to 20 Apr 22 / 2:00 P.M.
