There will be no speakers suspending from the ceiling due to the inability to bring heavy equipment vehicles into the Fieldhouse. 2. The Government has no specific parts/AV equipment required. The contractor shall meet performance standards as stated in the SOW and other contract documents. 3. The proposal due date will remain unchanged. AMENDMENT 0001: The purpose of this amendment is to post the questions and answers (Q&As), attach the updated Attachments 1 and 2, and add Attachments 5-8. Changes in all documents are reflected in red font. The proposal due date is extended from Thursday, 29 October 2020 to Monday, 2 November 2020 NLT 2pm (MDT). REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Site Visit. A site visit will be held on 22 October 2020 at 2:00pm (MDT). Due to COVID-19, only two representatives will be permitted to participate and must follow the State of New Mexico’s public health guidance and Cannon AFB guidance. The purpose of this site visit is to visit the site, clarify the requirements of the project and terms of the solicitation, and to answer any questions concerning the solicitation. Remarks and explanations provided at the site visit shall NOT qualify the terms of the solicitation and requirements. Basis for Award. 27 SOCONS/PKA will issue a purchase order to the vendor who is determined to offer the best value to the Government IAW FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. Best Value Determination. The technically acceptable, lowest priced quote will be determined to represent the best value. Technical acceptability will be determined by an evaluation of the quoted requirements that meet the technical criteria that is contained in the solicited item description and SOW. If the lowest priced submission does not meet the technical criteria described in the solicited item description and SOW, the government reserves the right to evaluate the next lowest priced submissions until it has determined a technically acceptable submission. The evaluation will stop at the point when the government determines an offeror to be technically acceptable with the lowest evaluated price, because that offer will represent the best value. Contingent upon a determination of contractor responsibility, award will be made to that offeror without further evaluation of other offers. Award will be made to the responsible vendor whose quote is the lowest evaluated price among technically acceptable quotes. Mandatory Registrations.
