This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued for the requirement described herein. Requirement: 23 FSS bldg 1216 needs to remove current carpet and install tile carpet in their ALS building. A new tile carpet system will replace the old rolled carpet system. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, management, supervision, coordination, waste disposal and transportation required to accomplish this requirement TO THE highlighted areas to be replaced as shown in the ALS Carpet Replacement Area document attached. Please quote for the original area (highlighted in orange on the Replacement Area PDF) and either separately quote or quote as a separate line item the pricing for the two classrooms. Additionally a second site visit has been scheduled for May 5th at 12:00 PM EDT. Site visit has expired. No additional site visit will be made available. Vendors are encouraged to inspect the site in order to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance to the extent that information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Prompt attendance will be expected by all contractors. ALS Building is located outside the main base area off of Bemis Road. NO BASE PASS IS NEEDED as entry through the main gates is not required. However it is still required to RSVP to the site visit by emailing A1C Caleb Burks at caleb.burks.3@us.af.mil with your intent to attend by the 3pm Friday May 2 to ensure accountability and inclusion on the site visit roster. *Please provide a contact phone number(s) for the member attending the site visit. This will allow us to reach you if necessary regarding any updates or changes on the site visit date. All contractors are responsible for thoroughly reviewing and understanding all provided documentation related to the project and the visit itself.
